What age is appropriate for the Go Chore Card Deck?

Nearing 3 years of age, children can/should participate in developmentally appropriate household chores.  Pictured cards are included for children between the ages of 3 through early adolescence.  You will find skill cards that separate skills into small steps for younger children (e.g. three individual skill cards for shirt, pants, shoes: when just starting to dress independently) and picture cards that group skills together to accommodate older children (e.g. one skill card picturing all clothing items – indicating: dress yourself).  The picture cards were created with varying levels of development in mind. 

Do I need separate decks of cards for each child in my home?

Siblings may be able to share a card deck if they are working on separate skills at the same time, or the same skills at different times of day.  However, each child needs to have their own sequence of skill cards to manipulate and reward cards to work toward.  If your children need to complete similar skills at the same time (e.g. morning and bedtime routines are popular times to use cards), then each sibling would benefit from their own deck.

In the very tiny chance you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our company is happy to accept online returns within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund or exchange. Items returned after the 30-day return period are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Items must be returned in undamaged and clean condition, with all pieces/cards included.
